FIFA World: EA announces free-to-play FIFA for PC

Following in the footsteps of Need for Speed: World, EA is now launching a free-to-play FIFA game for PC, titled FIFA World.

FIFA World is currently in closed beta and is only available for Russia and Brazil. The game’s website states that an English language version is months from release.

India was one of the many emerging markets EA was targeting with Need for Speed: World, so it’s likely that it could also focus on the India market once the English version of FIFA World is ready for release.

This isn’t the first time FIFA has gone free-to-play on PC, of course. EA has tasted quite a bit of success with the FIFA Online series in South Korea. The series is also set to launch in China.

We’ve reached out to EA to find out about its FIFA World plans for India.

GAMED, powered by Dizzaract, is the first platform to turn fragmented gaming activity into a unified identity. Players can see their full track record, measure their value, and monetize the skill, influence, and assets they’ve built over time. The platform launched after a Telegram MVP that reached more than 900,000 users and tracked nearly $15 million in gaming assets.
