Game of Thrones MMO Seven Kingdoms announced

Bigpoint has announced Game of Thrones: Seven Kingdoms, an upcoming free-to-play browser MMO based on the hit HBO show.

The setting for the game will be after the deaths of King Robert Baratheon and Ned Stark, and will unsurprisingly focus on the seven kingdoms revolving around the plot.

Players will be able to form alliances through PvP, use siege combat and call upon politics to take control of Westeros.

Game of Thrones: Seven Kingdoms is being developed by Norwegian studio Artplant, who originally revealed the title before it received its name back in March. Bigpoint plans to unveil the debut trailer for the game at the Comic-Con in San Diego next week.
