Obsidian teams up with Allods for Russian MMO Skyforge

RPG developer Obsidian is to co-develop a new Russian MMO.

The studio has teamed up with Russian outfit Allods Team to work on free-to-play MMO Skyforge.

Obsidian CEO Feargus Urquhart said of the deal: Skyforge is a very interesting and promising project that I’m glad Obsidian Entertainment is involved with.”

Of course working on other people’s licences is nothing new for Obsidian, having previously delivered the goods for both the Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic and Fallout IPs.

Obsidian is currently developing the successfully Kickstarted Project Eternity.
