PC Rise of the Tomb Raider confirmed for January release

Microsoft has announced that the PC edition of Rise of the Tomb Raider will be hitting Steam and Windows 10 at the end of January.

The action adventure title will be coming out on January 28th, according to the publisher.

This is in line with what was leaked from Amazon France in December of last year, as well as the January release window set out on the title’s Steam page.

Rise of the Tomb Raider launched in November 2015 as a timed exclusive on Xbox One and Xbox 360. The PS4 SKU is set for release in Q4 of this year.

The Xbox editions have sold over one million units worldwide since launch.

The PC release of Rise of the Tomb Raider continues the positive momentum from our highly successful partnership and collaboration with Microsoft for the launch on Xbox One and Xbox 360,” said Crystal Dynamics’ studio co-head Scot Amos.

Fellow studio co-head Ron Rosenberg added: PC players are a passionate, devoted audience and we know they’ll embrace the version created for their systems.”
