QVS to host Dead Island preview party

QV Software (QVS) has announced a Dead Island preview party to be held on Thursday (28th of July) at the Mana Bar in Fitzroy, Melbourne.

To conclude a day-long press event, from 6.30pm onwards fans will have a chance to see the game well before September release date, win prizes and be a part of a zombie-tiki costume competition.

Fans can follow instructions on the Mana Bar web site for a chance to win an invite. Entries close on Wednesday 27th of July at 10:00am (Australian Eastern Standard Time).

Omar Breary, marketing manager for QVS, said: "We felt it was only right to give members of the community the chance to attend the event given how supportive they’ve been of dead Island."

Guy Blomberg, Mana Bar owner, said: "We’re really excited to be hosting the Australian exclusive first look for Dead Island, and its great that we’ve been able to get the fans themselves involved."

Dead Island is releasing for 360, PS3 and PC on September 9, 2011.
