Rapper JME hosting £2,500 Rainbow Six Siege tournament at Gfinity

JME has announced the Serious Rainbow Six Siege Tournament, with a prize pool of 2,500 and a LAN final at the Gfinity Arena.

Qualifiers for the event will take place on August 28th, with the best teams qualifying for the LAN finals on September 9th. Once at the event teams will be able to play against JME and his team on stage at the arena.

I’m online murking just as much as I’m on stage, it was only a matter of time until this happened,” said JME. I’ve got my team, Headtop, and we’re more than ready.”

For those unfamiliar with JME he is one of the UK’s most successful grime MC artists. He is also the co founder of the Boy Better Know record label and brand, alongside his brother, and fellow artist, Skepta. JME is a big fan of video games, and once swapped a shiny gold vinyl version of his album for a shiny Charizard Pokemon card.

It’s going to be wonderful with Jme and supporting the competitive Rainbow Six community with another platform, with a twist,” added Sam Van Tilburgh, Head of Marketing at Gfinity. Bringing music and games together is something we’re keen to explore.”
