Raptr’s Plays.tv service partners with ESL, Wargaming

Gaming social network Raptr has announced new deals for its video sharing service Plays.tv, partnering with the Electronic Sports League and World of Tanks developer Wargraming.

Gamasutrareports the moves build on Raptr founder Dennis Fong’s plans to promote Plays.tv as a method for eSports announcers to showcase highlights.

The service is set to provide clips and reels during the Wargaming League North America Season 1 Finals World of Tanks event later this month. Raptr’s partnership with Wargraming will also see the video recording service integrated more directly with World of Tanks and the studio’s other titles.

Raptr launched Plays.tvthis past April, following a $14m funding round led by AMD.
