Slender sequel will terrify you all over again

Fresh from scaring the bejesus out of the gaming world in June, Slender creator Mark Hadley has revealed he is working on a sequel – The Arrival.

Slender: The Eight Pages was a free experimental PC game that gained a cult following and was extensively covered by the specialist press. It challenged players to walk around a dark wood and collect eight pages. Whilst all the time avoiding the eerie stalker – the Slender man.

Slender: The Arrival promises to introduce multiple levels, improved visuals and ‘an engaging storyline’, which suggests this will be more like a full game. It is being co-developed between ParsecProductions and Blue Isle Studios.

It will be a PC release, although it’s not known if this will be a paid-to-download (or even retail) game, or another free title.
