Steam top ten sellers chart: August 12-18

Valve has announced Steam’s top selling titles for the past week, with the latest in the Counter-Strike franchise holding its position at the top of the heap.

ArmA II (runner-up) continues to sell as well while in the midst of many happenings for its popular DayZ mod.

Elsewhere on the charts, Skyrim (ninth) continues to make its presence felt nine months away from launch thanks to its Dawnguard add-on (fourth).

Other recent releases of note include Sleeping Dogs (third) and Darksiders II (sixth). Orcs Must Die 2 (eighth), the lone indie effort this week, looks to be heading for the exit following a strong showing with multiple appearances on the weekly list.

The rest of the grouping is rounded out by DLC and franchise packs.

  1. Counter-Strike: Global Offensive
  2. ArmA II: Combined Operations
  3. Sleeping Dogs
  4. Skyrim: Dawnguard DLC
  5. Borderlands 2
  6. Darksiders II
