Steam top ten sellers chart: August 24-30

The second season of The Walking Dead took the top spot on Steam’s best sellers chart for the past week, thwarting 2K’s second impressive attempt to take over the entirety of the top ten.

The publisher scored another four entries this week, following last week’s performance that claimed half of the spots on the list.

Borderlands 2 Game of the Year finished in second, while pre-orders for Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel had the upcoming title resting in the fifth spot. Civilization V: Complete Edition and Civilization: Beyond Earth finished in sixth and seventh, respectively.

Other notables on the chart include Counter-Strike: Global Offensive in third, DayZ in fourth, and Metro Redux Bundle in ninth.
