Steam top ten sellers chart: December 23-29

Valve has revealed the top ten sellers for the first of two full weeks of store-wide discounts during Steam’s holiday sale.

Several heavy hitters were vying for the top spot, but in the end first-person hack and slash Chivalry: Medieval Warfare beat them all.

Skyrim would have likely surpassed the indie, but its franchise daily deal landed on the last day of the period, meaning more than half of its featured time is counted toward next week’s list. Expect to see it again at that point.

Borderlands 2, Far Cry 3, ArmA II, the THQ Collection, and Call of Duty: Black Ops II all hold the distinction of back to back appearances.

  1. Chivalry: Medieval Warfare
  2. Skyrim
  3. The Walking Dead
  4. Borderlands 2
  5. Far Cry 3
  6. ArmA II: Combined Operations
  7. THQ Collection
  8. Call of Duty: Black Ops II
  9. Saints Row: The Third – The Full Package
  10. Dark Souls: Prepare To Die Edition
