Steam top ten sellers: September 20-26

Elite: Dangerous has nabbed the top spot on Steam’s latest weekly best-selling titles, thanks in large part to a featured discount promotion.

The game was able to surpass runner-up Counter-Strike: Global Offensive – which still appears to be selling stronger every week.

Last week’s winner Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain finished behind the pair in third, while Grand Theft Auto V held its position in fourth.

New entries include Cities: Skylines’ new After Dark expansion also made the list in fifth, along with horror developer Frictional’s new title Soma in sixth.

Here’s the full list:

  1. Elite: Dangerous
  2. Counter-Strike: Global Offensive
  3. Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain
  4. Grand Theft Auto V
  5. Cities: Skylines – After Dark Expansion
