Streaming platform Hitbox partners with ESL, DreamHack and Wargaming

eSports streaming platform Hitbox has announced new partnerships to secure content from ESL, DreamHack and Wargaming.

A two year partnership will see all ESL produced eSports content feature on the site, with the first event of this new deal being the massive Wargaming Grand Finals 2016 that takes place this coming weekend. The entire event will be streamed on Hitbox, in English, Russian and Polish, as the best World of Tanks teams in the world compete for a share of the $300,000 prize pool.

The partnership with DreamHack gives Hitbox the exclusive streaming rights for all Russian and Portuguese DreamHack content, including coverage of DreamHack’s first North American event, DreamHack Austin in early May.

We are delighted to partner with these influential organizations within the eSports arena,” said Martin Klimscha, CEO and co-founder of Hitbox.

Working with ESL, DreamHack, and Wargaming provides our global community with the unique content they want, while at the same time allows us to expand to an even larger worldwide audience. We are very proud to partner with such high-profile eSports organizations who value and recognize the importance of our technology and dedicated community. eSports is a driving force for the industry, and Hitbox is on the cutting edge with much more to come”
