System Shock: Enhanced Edition launches on GOG

Night Dive Studios has released an enhanced edition of Looking Glass Technologies’ classic FPS/RPG hybird System Shock on GOG.

A post onGOG’s news sectionreveals the updated version adds mouselook and widescreen support, as well as a classic” version of the game that perserves the original’s look and feel.

New features also include remappable controls, a more intuitive inventory and item management system, and assorted bug fixes.

System Shock: Enhanced Edition is priced at $10 standard, but GOG is offering a 20 per cent launch discount through September 29th. Those who already own System Shock 2 via the distributor will be offered a 40 per cent discount on the new release.
