The Amazing Spider-Man on PC pushed back to August

The PC version of The Amazing Spider-Man tie-in will land a month and a half after both the film and console versions release, Activision has announced.

The official website states the game will be sold via Steam starting on August 10th.

All other versions of the game launched as of last week (Xbox 360, PS3, Wii, 3DS/DS, iOS, and Android), while the movie itself premieres this Tuesday.

No explanation was provided by Activision for the delay.
