UPDATE: Sega confirms Valkyria Chronicles PC port in development

2008 PlayStation 3 strategy-RPG release Valkyria Chronicles is heading to Windows PC, publisher Sega has announced.

Gallia, to arms! Return to the original battle on PC. More info coming soon…,” the company posted on its Twitter account earlier this week.

Though no details on a release window were provided by Sega at the time, it’s likely the game will be distributed via Steam whenever it does arrive for the PC platform.

The Valkyria Chronicles series also contains two sequels that saw release on the PSP, but no mention of either yet as far as the possibility of ports.

UPDATE:Game Informer has word on a release date and pricing info—with the game’s Steam pre-order page now up and offering a 10% off discount to those who purchase ahead of release. The port—which includes all of the PS3 version’s DLC—launches on November 11th for $19.99.
