Valve launches software line

Valve has announced the launch of its creative and development focused software, now available on Steam.

The first offerings include a desktop photo application, graphics tests for DirectX 10 and 11, a 3D production program, and a painting/drawing package. All our for windows, with a few being Mac compatible too.

Different offerings of Gamemaker: Studio are also available and have been upgraded to support Steam Workshop, and the previously released free Source Filmmaker tool has been categorized in the new section of the store as well.

Like the distributor’s game releases, the initial line of software goes for 10 per cent off during its first week.
