Possible PlayStation 4 reveal on 20th February

Sony is set to hold an event on 20th February that may well be for the reveal of the newest member of the PlayStation family – the PlayStation 4.

A post on the PlayStation Blog titled ‘See the Future’ included only a video that doesn’t say much but teases the 20th February date.

Several reports have suggested that Sony will reveal the PS4 before E3, with the console set to hit stores later this year.

The Wall Street Journal has reported that the event will indeed reveal the successor to the PS3, as told to them by people familiar with the matter”. WSJ also claims that the device will be out later this year.

The event is set to take place at 6 pm Eastern Standard Time in the US, which translates to 4:30 am IST on 21st February.

Eurogamer is reporting that the event will be streamed live by Sony, possible on playstation.com. Look for more updates from Sonyhere.
