Pre-purchase Guild Wars 2, get guaranteed beta access

NCsoft has announced that consumers who pre-purchase upcoming free-to-play MMO Guild Wars 2 will be guaranteed access to a range of beta events for the title.

In addition, access to the full game – which is still waiting for its official release date – will be granted three days earlier than everyone else, giving them the chance to be among the first to secure their character and guild names”.

The offer applies to both the Digital Deluxe and Standard Editions of the game.

Also on offer to those who pre-purchase is an exclusive Hero Band that offers an array of stat enhancements.

Those who pre-order, as opposed to pre-purchase, the game will get full access one day early.

Also available is a Collector’s Edition of the game. The SKU contains a 25 cm high statue of Rytlock Brimstone, five art prints, a custom picture frame, a hardback making-of book, CD soundtrack and five in-game items.

It will retail for 129.99. The Digital Deluxe SKU costs 64.99 and the Standard Edition 49.99.
