Profits up as Deus Ex: Human Revolution shifts 2.18m copies

Since its release on September 30th, Square Enix title Deus Ex: Human Revolution has sold 2.18m copies around the world.

1.38m of those units were snapped up in Europe and 800k in North America.

The numbers come as Square Enix announced a 115 per cent rise in net profit to 3,705bn for the six months ending September 30th.Net sales were down 15 per cent at 57,516bn.

Other strong sellers for the period included Dungeon Siege 3 (820k) and Dragon Quest 25th Anniversary Collection (350k).
