Project Eternity closes at over $4m pledged

Obsidian’s incredible Kickstarter push for Project Eternity has finally come to a close, amassing over $4m in the process.

While the Kickstarter page itself lists the total at just under the final stretch goal at $3,986,929, Obsidian revealed that combined with the $176,279 pledged from PayPal the final total comes in at $4,163,208.

That means the developer will be honouring the $4m stretch goal to enhance the whole game for the effort’s 77,667 backers, along with anyone else who purchases the game at some point down the line.

Obsidian set a Kickstarter record earlier this week, and is actually still taking donations through PayPal complete with reward tiers for a very limited time.
