Prototype 2 heading to PC this month despite Radical closure

With only a handful of staff remaining following its near-shutdown, Radical Entertainment has confirmed Prototype 2 will see release on PC.

Radical shares on its Facebook page that the sequel is still set to launch on July 24th; the game’s Steam page remains listed, offering users the option to pre-order.

"For PC gamers, rest assured that the PC version of Prototype 2 is still going to launch on July 24th as planned," the development studio stated on its Facebook page. "And a special ‘thanks’ to the Prototype Army and all our extremely loyal and passionate fans for supporting Radical Entertainment. We couldn’t have come this far without you."

Activision laid off the vast majority of Radical’s employees late last week.
