PS3 and Vita title Warrior’s Lair still alive

Sony has confirmed PS3 and PS Vita title Warrior’s Lair has not been canceled.

"Warrior’s Lair is still in development; it isn’t cancelled,” a Sony rep told Joystiq.

This following mumblings that over half of the cross-platformgame’s development studio Idol Minds had been let go.

While the company made it clear the studio is no longer working on the project, the actual number of layoffs, if any, has yet to be confirmed.

The game (formerly known as Ruin) was revealed during E3 2011 as a hack’n’slash RPG with social features built in. Obviously there’s been no word on when we should expect to see a launch for the title at this point.
