£133 for Natal?

A number of retail listings emerging from Sweden over the weekend – including GAME – have pegged a KR 1,400 price tag on a standalone SKU of Microsoft’s Natal motion controller – that translates to around 133.

As Kotaku points out, early retail listings are never accurate measure of price, though the fact that the prediction is so much higher than previous estimates will surely raise eyebrows.

Last November MCV revealed that sources had pinned a sub-50 price for the device, reflecting Microsoft’s desire to get the device plugged in to as many Xbox 360s as possible.

Bundling of the device with consoles has also been predicted this Q4, along with possible discounting of the base Xbox 360 hardware.
