2K Games go cheap on Steam

Users of Valve’s Steam network currently have the opportunity to snap up a huge compendium of 2K Games’ PC titles in a bundle that offers over 100 off the usual combined RRP.

Dubbed 2K Huge, the download includes big hitting titles such as BioShock, Civilization IV, Freedom Force, Prey, Railroad Tycoon 3 and X-Com. In total 20 titles are included if the numerous add-ons and expansions are tallied in.

The whole lot can be downloaded now for 35.99, a massive 105 less than it would cost to buy each of the games at full RRP. Plus, punters ordering the bundle before the end of play tomorrow (July 7th) will get an additional 10 per cent discount.

Deals such as this 2K one are becoming increasingly common online and ask yet more questions of traditional boxed retail, particularly when the savings are as stark as this.
