2K Games skips E3 2013

BioShock publisher 2K Games will not be exhibiting at this year’s E3 show in Los Angeles.

The firm has announced via its official blog that it will "not have a booth on the show floor" in June.

Instead it will unveil demos and details of its upcoming titles via its YouTube and Twitch channels.

2K’s current line-up includes Sid Meier’s Civilzation V: Brave New World, its first outing for the WWE series, more Borderlands 2 DLC and the iOS version of XCOM: Enemy Unknown – not to mention recently rebranded sci-fi shooter, The Bureau: XCOM Declassified.

The news follow Nintendo’s revelation that it will not be holding it’s traditional press conference, instead focusing its attentions on its booth on the E3 show floor.

E3 will be held, as always, at the Los Angeles Convention Center from June 11th to June 13th.
