Activision DLC now half-price on Xbox Live

Microsoft and Activision are running a huge half-price sale on the latter’s Xbox Live content.

Consumers can save 50 per cent on selected add-ons such as map packs for titles such as Call of Duty 2, 3, Modern Warfare and World at War, as well as Transformers: War For Cybertron.

Music fans will be able to buy song bundles for Guitar Hero 5, Guitar Hero: Warriors of Rock and both DJ Hero titles. The tracks available come from artists such as Megadeth, Fall Out Boy, Linkin Park and My Chemical Romance.

The publisher has also dropped the price on seven of its downloadable games, including Crash Bandicoot, Legend of Spyro and Assault Heroes 1 and 2.

A full list of the DLC included in the sale and their new price points is available on Major Nelson’s blog. The sale will run until January 17th.
