According to a post on Kotaku, Activision has shut down its San Francisco studio Shaba.

The team responsible for Spider-Man: Web of Shadows was reportedly closed yesterday, with 30 staff being made redundant.

Only yesterday, Activision reportedly laid off as many staff at its recently-acquired music game team 7 Studios.

Shaba Games was formed in 1997, and was acquired by Activision in 2002. It had worked on ports of titles like Tony Hawk to various consoles,
