Activision trademarks ‘The Blast Furnace’

Activision has been making moves regarding an apparent new game entitled The Blast Furnace.

Fusible reports (via Shacknews) the company filed a trademark application for the title on April 18th. The application covers ‘computer game software’ and an ‘on-line computer game.’

Additionally, DomainNameSales reported a sale of theblastfurnace.com just a day after the trademark filing.

No word from Activision as of yet, but it appears we can expect an official announcement sometime soon.
