Debut title Ranch Run to release worldwide in January

Bangkok mobile gaming start-up secures $500k

Bangkok-based mobile game studio Infinity Levels has secured $500,000 in funding to develop new mobile games.

As reported by TechCrunch, the investment from VC firm InVent will go into the continued development of its first title, mobile racer Ranch Run, due for worldwide release in January. The studio is also at work on two other games for early 2015.

As well as its $500k funding round, the Infinity Labs has also partnered with Pocket Playlab in a $2m deal that will see the latter publish and market the start-up’s games.

The move into games is a stark turnaround from its initial venture into dating apps with Available. The firm said it would continue to run the service, but its focus has now switched to gaming.
