Batman: Arkham series to star in animated spin-off

The popular Batman: Arkham series is to form the basis of an animated movie.

CBR reports that Warner has three animated DC films in the works – Justice League: War and one other from within the official Justice League arc and then one other, non-cannon movie – that’s the Arkham one.

It’s not currently known whether it will be based specifically on just one of the games (those being Arkham Asylum, Arkham City and Arkham Origins) or which of the depicted Batmans (Batmen?) found in those games will be the star.

All of this activity ties in with what is likely to be a notable increase in justice League activity the closer we get to the release of Man of Steel 2: Batman vs Superman.
