Bethesda E3 rehearsal leads to accidental Dishonored 2 reveal – report

A live microphone at Bethesda’s E3 news conference rehearsal yesterday apparently captured mention of a Dishonored sequel, with the publisher more or less acknowledging the gaff.

Kotaku reports on Arkane president Raph Colantonio going over Dishonored co-director Harvey Smith’s presentation, with all indications pointing to a Dishonored 2 reveal.

It’s clear those involved in the discussion realized their mics were on at one point and cut out, but not before Bethesda’s broadcast on Twitch caught the conversation.

Though the video was pulled, Bethesda seems to be taking the slip-up in stride – posting the following on Twitter ahead of its E3 presentation later today:

Twitch test a success. Tune in tomorrow night at 6:45 pm PT for more surprises.”
