Beyond Good & Evil fronts XBLA House Party

Microsoft has announced a string of new downloadable games led by Beyond Good & Evil HD.

The five-game collection comes as part of an ‘Xbox Live Arcade House Party’ promotion, reports VG247. This gets underway on February 16th with the release of shooter Hard Corps Uprising.

Beyond Good & Evil is a high-definition remake of Ubisoft’s classic action adventure game. It will be accompanied by PC RPG Torchlight and casual games Bejeweled Blitz and Full House Poker – with the latter boasting cross-platform compatibility with the Windows Phone version.

Microsoft made the announcement after its CES 2011 press event. Release dates and prices for each game following Hard Corps Uprising have not yet been revealed.

Last September Microsoft’s ‘Game Feast’ promotion featured Hydrophobia, Comic Jumper, Pinball FX 2 and Super Meat Boy.
