Midlands will host two-day industry conference in November

Birmingham braced for games dev show

Culture minister Ed Vaizey is set to appear at this year’s 2DigitalDays as a keynote speaker, alongside experts from Google UK, Blitz Games and Microsoft’s Rare.

The industry event is due to take place on November 16-17th and will include tours of Birmingham’s leading digital media companies: Codemasters, Rare, BBC Birmingham and the City University game development school, ‘Gamer Camp’.

The conference will attract over 200 of Europe’s rising stars and digital industry leaders as part of Global Entrepreneurship Week. The £99 event showcases the best of new media talent in a city home to 21 per cent of the UK games workforce.
