Blizzard job listing reveals unannounced Diablo project

Blizzard is hiring for an unannounced project related to the Diablo franchise, according to a new job listing posted by the developer.

According toBlizzard’s listing, the studio is in search of an art director that brings a passion for games with a deep understanding of the Diablo franchise.” The listing adds development on the project is already underway.

It’s unclear whether the project is the next expansion for Diablo III, or a completely new game. The general development time for Diablo titles points to the former, but there’s some who believe the company is working on a free-to-play spinoff of some sort – what would be Diablo’s Hearthstone or Heroes of the Storm.

Blizzard of course has remained silent amid the speculation. We’ll just have to wait until the firm is ready to reveal more.
