Blizzard unveils cross-platform card battler Hearthstone: Heroes of Warcraft

Free-to-play card battler Hearthstone: Heroes of Warcraft has been announced by Blizzard.
The game will be cross platform across PC, Mac and iPad. It takes the established card battle format and injects it with a dose of the popular Warcraft IP. It will be debuted this weekend at US event PAX East.

We’ve always loved collectible card games at Blizzard, so it’s been exciting to bring everything we love about the genre to life in Hearthstone,” Blizzard CEO and co-founder Mike Morhaime stated.

We’re putting a lot of focus into creating a fun new game that’s easy to pick up and play, but also has a lot of depth. We can’t wait to share it with everyone.”
