Blizzard’s Titan is ‘next-gen MMO’

Titan is not just the name of Blizzard’s latest mystery title – it’s also the name of what the developer has tantalisingly called a "next-gen MMO".

"The media is not supposed to know anything about that. It’s our next-gen MMO project," Blizzard’s senior VP Frank Pearce told Destructoid.

"We’ve only started talking about it in a limited fashion because we want to leverage the fact that we’re working on something like that for the purpose of recruiting – getting some of the best talent in the industry on that project."

Of course, the exact meaning of "next-gen MMO" is entirely up to debate. Could it mean an MMO for Xbox 360 and PS3? Quite possibly.

Titan is due out in Q4 2013.
