From Software's hit new IP reaches milestone in less than two weeks after release

Bloodborne sales surpass 1m

PS4 exclusive Bloodborne is now a million-seller.

Gematsu reports that as of April 5th the game had sold 1m units. That includes both physical and digital sales of the game.

The game was released in the UK on March 27th but arrived in other territories earlier – the US got it on the 24th and Japan on the 26th, for instance.

“Bloodborne was a new challenge for us, and our goal was to create a title that took full advantage of the power of PS4,” Sony Worldwide Studios president Shuhei Yoshida said.

“I am thrilled that so many users have been enjoying the extremely rich and detailed world, beautiful melancholic atmosphere and palpable tension of Bloodborne. SCE WWS will continue to bring exciting software titles that offer entertainment experiences only possible on PS4."
