Gamesaid aiming for £2,000 in donations

Bring a tenner for charity at the Develop Awards 2012

GamesAid will once again be asking attendees at this year’s Develop Awards to donate just £10.

All donations will be then split amongst partner charities, as voted for by members of the UK games industry later in the year.

The organisation aims to raise £2,000 by the end of the night. Last year it raised £2,080. If you’re already feeling generous, you can make your donation now at Just Giving.

You can also donate by text message – simply text GAID99 £10 to 70070.

The Develop Industry Excellence Awards will be held next Wednesday (July 11th) at the Hilton Metropole Hotel in Brighton.

Comedian Terry Alderton will host the tenth Anniversary ceremony.

Big name sponsors include Crytek, Deep Silver, Amiqus, Supermassive Games, UKIE, Testronic Labs, Rare, Autodesk, Nova Scotia Canada, Game Connection, Zattikka and OPM Recruitment.

There are still sponsorship opportunities available. All enquiries should go to Lesley.Blumson@intentmedia.co.uk.

There are still limited places for tables at the Develop Awards, so book now to avoid disappointment. Single seats cost £235 plus VAT for a single seat, or from £2,350 for tables.

To book your place contact Kathryn Humphrey by emailing Kathryn.Humphrey@intentmedia.co.uk or calling 01992 535 647.
