Bungie trademarks Dead Orbit

Bungie has filed a number of trademarks which may give a clue as to what the developer’s next game will be called.

The Washington studio has submitted the following copyrighted titles to the United States Copyright Office: New Monarchy, Dead Orbit, Osiris and Seven Seraphs.

Bungie has also registered a number of website domains for the names, reports Superannuation on Twitter.

Last April Bungie signed a ten-year publishing deal with Activision. The developer previously had an exclusive agreement with Microsoft to work on the popular Halo shooter franchise for Xbox 360.

Microsoft now has internal developer 343 Industries working on future Halo titles.
