CoD: Infinite Warfare offering free trial on PS4

PS4 owners will be able to get hands-on with Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare later this week.

Activision’s shooter will be free to download and play from December 15th to December 20th. There will be restrictions, however – only the first two modes of single player will be accessible, while multiplayer will be capped to level 15 and zombies to level three.

However, should you decide to go on and buy the game, all progress will be carried over.

The move comes as the game struggles to match the sales of its predecessors. Physical sales of the game are down around 50 per cent year-on-year compared to 2015’s Black Ops 3, in both the US and UK.

It’s not all bad news, though. The game is back at the top of the UK charts this week and also topped November’s UK digital charts.
