Popular racing series coming to arcade cabinets

Codemasters and Sega partner for Grid Arcade

UK-based developer Codemasters has signed and agreement with Sega Amusements Europe to bring its Grid franchise to the arcades.

A two-man cabinet of the game has been developed at Codemasters Studios, and comes with a 32” HD screen, force feedback steering, and links up to 6 players together.

Grid won a BAFTA for best sports game in 2009.

Codemasters says this new version "retains the acclaimed handling and visuals of the console editions to deliver the most exciting coin-op racing experience in years".
