WBIE takes duties from troubled THQ

Codemasters signs Warner Bros distribution deal

Warner Brothers International Entertainment has signed a deal for the distribution, sales, and marketing of the complete 2012 Codemasters lineup in North and South America.

Codemasters’ distribution has previously been handled by financially troubled THQ, which recently closed several studios, and laid off hundreds of employees.

Gamasutra pointed out this is not the first time the UK publisher and developer has worked with WBIE, which handled the European launch of Codemaster’s Lord of the Rings Online.
