GAMESCOMâ??09: Next in Segaâ??s PC RTS franchise to arrive in February

Creative Assembly returns to Total War

The newest project by Sega-owned UK studio The Creative Assembly remains confined to the Total War franchise.

The newest game, Napoleon: Total War, is expected to hit retail February 2010.

The PC real time strategy game is the sequel to this year’s Empire: Total War, which topped the ChartTrack Top 40 back in February, and achieved critical acclaim.

“In Napoleon: Total War you get to actually be Napoleon – to face the problems he faced, to win the battles he won, and to build the Empire he built. Or better,” said Creative Assembly’s creative director, Mike Simpson.

“However, the game allows you to step in the shoes of his opposing generals as well, allowing the player to rewrite history as they see fit.”
