Creative Assembly working on new Alien game

A brand new title in the Alien video game franchise has been confirmed this morning, MCV has revealed.

In development at Sega owned studio Creative Assembly, at this stage it’s simply being described as an "action title". The developer has told MCV that it maintains an "open mind" about which platforms it will be released on, adding that both Nintendo consoles and maybe even the next generation of consoles are a possibility.

It intends to increase its staff count from its current 160 to around 200 people, with a brand new 10,000 sq ft work space having been allocated to the project.
