New modern studio to give group more legpace and expansion options

Crytek UK in studio move

Nottingham-based studio Crytek UK will move out of its offices by the end of March.

On March 29 the Crytek UK outfit – led by studio head Karl Hilton – will relocate to another, presumably larger, office in Nottingham.

The relocation out from its current Nottingham office will be a further wash of the studio’s explosive history.

The soon-to-be-vacant studio once went under the name Free Radical – a strongly independent outfit responsible for the likes of the TimeSplitters series, before the group cashed into administration during the nadir of the global recession.

The group was rescued from liquidation by Frankfurt-headquartered outfit Crytek – now giving the British outfit a seemingly unshakable degree of stability.
