Darksiders 2 still some way off

As part of last night’s fincnaicl report, publisher THQ has stated that the sequel to its successful new action IP Darksiders won’t be out until the company’s fiscal 2013 period.

This dates its release, which despite some reports was announced was back in February, as any time between April 2012 and March 2013.

The first game, which was somewhat of a surprise critical success, sold 1.2m units worldwide in its first month on sale, successfully fending off similar rival Dante’s Inferno in the process.

Other titles due out in fiscal 2013 include MMO outing Warhammer 40,000: Dark Millennium and Devil’s Third.
