Darksiders II delay confirmed by THQ

THQ has officially announced a delay for Darksiders II, pushing the title’s release target back a couple months.

The publisher stated back in February the game would arrive on June 26th. Now, that date has been adjusted to ‘sometime in August’ (via the Darksiders website).

THQ previously alluded to the potential delay in a recent RipTen interview, which also conveniently provides us with one of the main reasons for the delay:

"We haven’t announced anything… but the team is working really, really hard. We’re not going to ship it before it’s done," stated THQ EVP Danny Bilson.

The company has been seemingly hard at work righting the ship since dealing with some harsh criticism earlier this month.
