The Netherlandsâ?? based event to focus on â??Games Anywhereâ??

Dates set for Festival Of Games 2011

The next annual Festival Of Games event will expand its focus to all segments of the computer games business, from social to mobile, to online, digital and retail.

The event is set to run April 28 and 29 in Utrecht, the Netherlands.

It’s agenda – ‘Games Anywhere’ – will look at how new markets have emerged through numerous forms of technology and entertainment.

“Since our inception in 2005 we have seen the industry shift from being publisher-driven to being consumer-driven,” said Seth van der Meer, chairman of the Festival of Games.

“This development has paved the way for online publishers, indie developers and trans-media developers to become the new and daring kids on the block.”
