Sony has used its E3 press conference to unveil the shape and look of the PlayStation 4 console.

The PS4 was announced back in February, but to the disappointment of many consumers, the physical console was not shown.

Now, as many predicted, that has changed. Sony revealed a box described on stage by andrew house as "a design that is sleek and visually impactful wherever it is placed."

The product design offers a sizeable black shape already nicknamed the ‘parallelogram’ on Twitter.
